Septorhinoplasty

Septorhinoplasty is a surgical procedure that combines two distinct nose operations: Rhinoplasty and Septoplasty. This procedure is chosen by individuals who wish to enhance the appearance of their nose while also addressing breathing difficulties related to the nasal airway. With septorhinoplasty, you can achieve the desired aesthetic results and experience improved nasal function.

Correct diagnosis is important for septorhinoplasty, which both corrects breathing problems and is a solution to aesthetic concerns. Your doctor diagnoses your general condition and nasal septum problem and listens to your aesthetic concerns.

In the first stage of the surgery, local or general anesthesia is applied depending on the patient’s condition. With a small incision made under the nose, the internal tissues are reached. Excess bone tissue is removed from this angle and if it cannot be treated internally due to structural problems, the tissues are shaped outside the nose and then placed inside the nose. Concerns in the individual in terms of both the problem in the nose and the external appearance is eliminated.

Stitches are removed one week after surgery or dissolve on their own. In addition, a tampon is placed to prevent bleeding after the surgery and these tampons are removed 2-3 days later. Thanks to these tampons, you will be able to breathe easily after the surgery.
