Nose Surgery With Piezo Method
The nose surgery with the piezo method is also known as ultrasonic rhinoplasty. This method is a brand-new rhinoplasty technique. In this method, hammer and chisel techniques are not used to reshape the nose. Firstly, anesthesia is administered. Then, incisions are made in the nostrils or at the base of the nose, and the bones are cut and shaped using the ultrasonic method. It involves the use of piezoelectric devices that use ultrasonic vibrations.
Shaping the nasal bone and cartilage with ultrasonic vibrations minimizes trauma and tissue damage in the nose. As a result, you can expect a very comfortable surgical process and postoperative period. Bruising and pain will be minimal, and you may not even feel anything at all.
At the end of this procedure, you will have a very natural-looking nose. You will also experience the fastest recovery period. Due to the lack of tissue damage and trauma, you will recover much faster than with traditional rhinoplasty.
The postoperative care you need to be aware of is the same as with other rhinoplasty procedures. For the first few days after surgery, you should rest as much as possible and keep your head slightly elevated while sleeping. You can take a shower, but you should avoid getting water on your face for the first week.
