Piezo Technique
Rhinoplasty helps you get not only the nose shape you have always wished for but also improves complications regarding the functionality of the nose.
Nose surgeries can be performed for aesthetic purposes or to correct the function of the nose. Rhinoplasty can be performed to change the shape and size of the nose, to reduce the tip or wings of the nose, to eliminate nasal hump. It can also be performed in combination with septoplasty to correct the nasal septum.
Ideal rhinoplasty candidates are people in good general health and have realistic expectations. Before the procedure, it is important to have a detailed consultation with your physician. In this consultation, your surgeon will evaluate your expectations, medical history and inform you about the risks and advantages of the procedure.
Rhinoplasty Surgery Techniques
Two main techniques are used in rhinoplasty: Open and closed rhinoplasty. Open rhinoplasty is performed by making a small incision under the tip of the nose. This method allows the surgeon to gain better access to the nasal structures. Closed rhinoplasty is performed through incisions made inside the nose and the healing process is the same as with open surgery. The procedure is performed under general anesthesia. The duration of the procedure can vary between 2-3 hours depending on the corrections made.
